                                             Jewelry

We will explore what it is about glass that is an ideal material for making jewelry.  The course will be an action-packed 12 hours -- we'll be making a variety of small glass jewelry pieces that will be fired in different ways. Explore the possibilities of kiln forming techniques to create stunning jewelry pieces.

This class will create fused glass pendants, pieces with metal inclusions, and multiples.  Over the course of this class you will use glass cutting and cold-working techniques, including how to drill small holes.

Students will end up with several beautiful pieces of glass jewelry and a good understanding of how to use it in their own work.
