​​Flameworking Camp


Learn how to wind molten glass on mandrels and achieve your desired shape by using heat control in the flame and tools to manipulate the glass. You will also learn several decorative techniques using glass stringers and frit. Vocabulary, resources, safety, and tools & equipment will also be covered. 

Over the course of this class students will learn the foundation of flameworking as well as the discipline to make a series of beads to string into an necklace.

Cancellation Policy for Youth Glass Camp: Cancellations made 2 weeks prior to the first day of class will be given a 100%refund. Cancellations made 1 week prior to the first day of class will be given a 50% refund. No refunds will be given with less than a weeks notice. No refunds for no shows. In the event that bagi would cancel class, a full refund will be issued.
