Brian Hirst  Glassblowing, Casting

Brian Hirst of Victoria, Australia, has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United Stated, Japan, China, Sweden and France. Hirst’s glass pieces are among the prized collections at Corning Museum of Glass in New York, Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco and many others. Hirst most recently guest lectured to The Metropolitan Contemporary Glass Group at Leo Kaplan Modern, New York and Contemporary Art Gallery of NSW Society in Sydney. Hirst will also be teaching a 3-day workshop on cast-blowing, January 16-18, 2004 at BAGI’s studio.
