Boyd Sugiki & Lisa Zerkowitz  Bowl Glassblowing

Picture
(t) Boyd Sugiki
(b) Lisa Zerkowitz
Boyd will demonstrate a variety of cocktail glasses, from the “olive martini” to a champagne flute.  He is known for his cocktail sets and utilitarian objects.  Combined with his point of view, the result is contemporary, unique and functional. Lisa and Boyd will also create one of Lisa’s beach balls, a signature piece of hers that she developed out a body of work that is based on childhood memory. She initially made them in soft colors but has recently revisited them utilizing a brighter color palette.
Free Lecture, Demonstration & Reception.
