Open Studio

Picture
The Bay Area Glass Institute (BAGI) presents its annual Open Studio in conjunction with Silicon Valley Open Studios 2004, on Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2, 11am -5pm. The Bay Area Glass Institute is located at 401 East Taylor Street, Suite 115, San Jose, CA 95112.

Glass blowing and flame-working demonstrations will be accompanied by a sale of functional glass pieces and a variety of glass ornaments. BAGI’s signature glass pumpkins, fruits & vegetables will be on sale, as well. Average prices range from $30-$80.

“This is a great opportunity for us to interact with the public,” said Susan J. Longini, BAGI executive director. “We also want to show our support to the Silicon Valley Open Studio. They are a pioneer in promoting professional as well as amateur artists in the Silicon Valley. The breadth and depth of the artistic talents should be recognized.”

The glass art sale benefits program development at the Bay Area Glass Institute.
