BAGI Great Glass Auction 2011 Was A Huge Success.  Great Artists, Worthy Cause, Supportive Patrons. Thank you.

The BAGI Great Glass Auction was on March 26th at the Palo Alto JCC and a great time was had by all.

Results were tremendous for patrons, artists and BAGI.  Proceeds from the event will help us to run the studio, sponsor visiting artists, expand outreach efforts to students of all ages including our new kids classes and build our reserve.

The Saxe Fellowship was awarded to Cassandra Straubing, the People's Choice Award went to Shaun Griffiths, who also won a Jurors' Choice Award, and Elizabeth Ryland Mears was recognized with a Jurors' Choice award.  And over 60 different local, national and international artists including Mark Abildgaard, Dean Bensen, Keith and Melissa Bispo, Shaun Griffiths, Theoren Hanks, Martin Janecky, Michael Janis, Vladimira Klumpar, Jay Musler, Tone Orvik, David Patchen, Elizabeth Ryland Mears, Ethan Stern, Toland Sand, Preston Singletary, Johnathan Schmuck, Treg Silkwood and Candace Martin, Boyd Sugiki and Lisa Zerkowitz, Cassandra Straubing, Jennifer Umphress, Mary B. White donated work to make the event possible.
