The Venetian style of cup or goblet making is a worthwhile focus for all glassblowers at some point in their education; it teaches discipline, teamwork, and the nuances of delicate hot-glass construction. Students will be instructed on all aspects of the process and will learn to use the tools and develop the skills needed to pull, twist, and pick up cane and apply it in cup making. Using a garage for hot construction from pre-made components will become an indispensable skill in this course and beyond. 2 years of glassblowing experience required.
