2nd Sunday Demonstration on March 14, 2010
People's Choice winners, Treg Silkwood and Candace Martin will be our featured artists for March! Both Treg and Candace are local artists from San Jose, CA. They are coming to BAGI to share their love of Glass Art in an exciting glassblowing demonstration! Treg is also one of BAGI's glassblowing instructors.

*Starting in March 2010, we are moving our 3rd Thursday Events to the 2nd Sunday of each month. These 2nd Sunday events will run from 2pm - 4:30pm. We hope moving the events to Sunday will make it easier for everyone to attend.

Collecting Contemporary Glass - January 8

Micaela Van Zwoll is leading an interactive lecture“Connections, Culture, Collecting ... A Contemporary View of Buying Art” and will provide both the novice and more experienced glass collector with insights on starting a glass collection as well as enhancing and/or expanding an existing one.
The evening will begin with a reception featuring light hors d’oeuvres and wine, followed by the lecture and a questions and answers session. The lecture is open to the public, but space is limited so reservations are required. To RSVP please register on-line.

Stop by BAGI's Ornatment and Glass Art Gift booths to check out artwork made by over 25 local artists. Artwork and ornaments price ranges between $8 - $200. This popular exhibit, demonstration, and sale is a community tradition that features a wide display ornaments and fine art glass pieces that reflect the beauty and joy of the season. Check out the large selection of exquisite, hand-blown glass ornaments, decorative bowls, vasses and other holiday favorites. Veteran glass collectors and art glass enthusiasts alike will find something special to purchase as a holiday gift and/or add to their own collection. Your purchases will be supporting local glass artists as well as BAGI, a local recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The event helps provide continued artistic, educational and intellectual support to customers, patrons, artists and the community as a whole.
