Bring the great outdoors inside.  You'll safely experience working with 2000°F molten glass at the end of a turning steel rod. You'll spend two hours with some classmates and a great instructor who will keep it both safe and fun. In the end, you will have made your own terrarium to house living plants.  We will send you on your way with instructions to get your terrarium started.  A starter kit will be available for a small additional fee, living plants not included. (The terrarium itself will need to be picked up days after the event, as blown glass needs to cool slowly in an annealing oven.)

Your imagination is your only limit to what you can create.  Our experienced glass artists will help you with the process. "Party of 4"  Here is a chance for 4 friends or 2 couples to share a unique experience with glass!  Four friends or 2 couples will spend 2 hours sharing a glass making experience together in a safe, relaxed environment without the added heat like our HOT Glass Experience above.  Each person in your group will create either a  plate, suncatcher or 4 coasters with a wide variety of colored flat glass.  You'll learn how to safely cut glass to create your unique design!

"Party of 4" Class Schedule and Registration

We've developed a new kind of glass art class. Our current beginner offerings are great to get you started in the art of working glass. But what if you're just looking for the experience? What if you just want something totally different and fun to do with your friends or co-workers? You've already tried rock climbing. Maybe you've even thrown yourself out of a perfectly good airplane? BAGI's glass experience may be just right for you (although way, way less scary!)

In the end, you will have made a glass paperweight, a glass flower (no kidding!), and you will have had a great time.

Glass Experience Class Schedule

After the successes of both "Glass Experience" and "Party of 4", we have created a new class for everyone to have the opportunity to blow a  6"- 7" diameter "float".   Four people per bench will spend 2 hours working on creating their own "2 color", unique "float".  The floats can used indoors or outside as decorative pieces for your house or garden.

Our price for the class is $160 per person.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at 7 days prior to the first day of a class will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made 3 days prior to the first day of class will be issued a 50% refund. In the event that BAGI were to cancel a class(es) a full refund, for the class(es) will be issued.
Liability: Students must be 9+ years of age for glassblowing related classes. Students must be 12+ years of age for flameworking & kilnworking related classes. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a BAGI issued liability release form. Students must inform BAGI, at the time of registration, if they have special requirements due to health related conditions.
